New student housing block for HOAS was completed in the corner of Hermannin rantatie and Vanha talvitie in the spring of 2024. The building contains 108 apartments - mostly one room apartments, but there are also two and three room apartments in the building. Cafeteria and yoga room as well as laundry room and bicycle storage for the use of students are located in ground floor. Three saunas are located on the upper floor in close proximity to sunny roof terrace.

The massing of the building follows the city plan regulations, where the upper floor is required to be retracted from the facade line. With the help of small retraction from the main street, whole volume is visually divided into to volumes to create a more appealing architecture and scale. The facades facing the streets are clad with dark brick, but facades facing the courtyard are clad in light brick.
